Working within the improvement space for over a decade has allowed me to create truly impactful change with many forward-thinking teams.
My passion stems from the relationships I make and the excitement that comes from tackling a long-time challenge.
For many, inefficiencies in day-to-day work become normalized and workarounds, or as we like to call them, band-aid solutions, become the standard.

I once asked a Soldier why he and his fellow squad-members were unloading heavy artillery ammunition over the side-wall of a cargo truck.
"I don't know, Sir, I was just told to unload the truck", he responded.
I walked over to the truck, unlatched a few pins, and down came the side-wall, offering the entire team easier access and a faster process.
His look of astonishment and relief is still one I reflect on. Often times, the best solutions are the simplest ones that our people just don't know about.
